FRIDAY,30TH AUGUST 2024 ---Title: Wrapping Up the Week: Finishing HTML and Starting CSS

The Last Day of Orientation for the Week It was the final day of orientation for the week, and I was excited to see what we’d cover before wrapping things up. The journey had been intense but rewarding so far.    Wrapping Up HTML We finished up our lessons on HTML, solidifying the foundation I’d built over the past few days. It felt great to finally understand how to structure a webpage from the ground up.     Introduction to CSS After wrapping up HTML, we got our first taste of CSS. We were introduced to how CSS is used to style websites and make them more visually appealing. I’m looking forward to diving deeper into this in the coming weeks.   Building a Navigation Menu One of the highlights of the day was learning how to create a navigation menu for other web pages. This feature is essential for any website, and it was exciting to learn how to implement it using both HTML and CSS.

Balancing Office Work and Training I got a bit engrossed in something at the office before heading to the training, curious about what the day had in store for me. However, the pace was slower today, for reasons best known to the instructors.   Learning Tags and Building My Home Page Even though we didn’t cover as much material as I’d hoped, we were introduced to different HTML tags. This turned out to be a valuable addition to my skills, helping me refine the home page I had been working on with Elementor.   Reflecting on My Progress After the training, I returned to the office to reflect on everything I’d learned so far from the CISCO training. It was a good moment to consolidate my thoughts and review my progress.   Ending the Day Once I felt satisfied with my reflection, I wrapped things up and closed for the day, looking forward to what tomorrow would bring.
